I was hoping to do that today too, but when I got up, imagine my surprise when I was greeted by green grass! It really shouldn't be allowed to rain at Christmas and take all the lovely snow away. Sheesh.
I just came in from walking my dog in the snow. I love it almost as much as he does.

Thanks, Jim! Actually, this is Trouble with Moses. He was Rowdy's predacessor, another beautiful Springer. This is one of my favorite photos of the boys, taken their last winter together. Maybe I'll post more shots of the two of them later this week, in this same woods. Time marches on...

I always love the look of snow. Unfortunately it doesn't ever snow where I live so I don't get to experience it! Snow is pretty! Happy new year!!
