OK, we fooled ya, didn't we? But Brett the Jet is up to his ol' high jinx. He announced Wednesday that he's retiring again.

After so many ups and downs, with Brett, the Jets and The Pack, we just want to kick back, relax, and read this article from The Onion, which always puts others who practice the craft of satire to shame. Something about Brett and an itch. Please read it...you'll laugh!

After the Less-Than-Stellar performance of Our Beloved Packers in yesterday's game against Carolina, many of the Cheeseheads around these here parts felt a little like this fella this morning. Mr. Frowny Cheesehead comes to us courtesy of Mr. G's Thoughts for Free.

Aunt Julie and Soccer Boy went to the game at Historic...but Chilly...Lambeau Field. Meanwhile, we tuned into the Jets after the Packer loss, hoping for Redemption, since Brett's a Jet and all. But the Jets tanked (34-17, even worse than The Pack!), too, in their performance against the Broncos.

The Pop'rs Family is pretty bummed. Not even a Packer Party could perk us up at this point!

OK, Sports Fans--Brett Favre's a Jet. We're getting ready to watch his debut in New York (well, actually suburban Jersey, but who's counting?) against the Washington Redskins. Can't quite believe that Ol' Number 4 is going to be wearing another shade of green After. All. Those. Years with The Pack. Unbelievable.
