OK, we fooled ya, didn't we? But Brett the Jet is up to his ol' high jinx. He announced Wednesday that he's retiring again.
Before we get to that, let's get to this. Last day to enter our Great New Pop'rs Valentine's Day Giveaway! Click Here for details. Comment on all of Veggie's posts this week for extra entries!
Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled program.
Bummer!
After so many ups and downs, with Brett, the Jets and The Pack, we just want to kick back, relax, and read this article from The Onion, which always puts others who practice the craft of satire to shame. Something about Brett and an itch. Please read it...you'll laugh!
Playing along with Candid Carrie today. You know she's the Purveyor Extraordinaire of the Friday Foto Finish Fiesta!

I love the Onion! He really needs to hang it up.
Yep, he needs to go already - lol!
You know, I've loved Brett for a long time. I hate that he is ruining his legacy this way. He needs to retire and hide out for awhile.
He was such a great quarterback and now he just kinda seems like a joke. I hate when athletes do that to themselves.
When I read about Brett announcing his retirement AGAIN I felt kinda played, wondering if this time he is going to stick with it or just keep stringing us along like last year.
Tired...hummm. Does that mean I can stop working? But, my is he a good looking thing. Poster worthy! (Yes, it is my first time seeing him.)
I hate that he is ending up a joke...I wish he would have retired on top! It must be hard to just leave...
lol, you had me for a split second :-)
Just tell me he's not gonna cry on TV again. He had a great opportunity to go. out. on. top. Sigh.
I agree with Ronda.....wish he could have just left while he was on top. Thats a nice pic though...
That is a very telling picture of Brett. I too think it's time for him to retire while he is still great...
But I still love the Packers and am not a fan of the Jets, sorry Farve!
I love the new look!
And ummm yeah. Brett. I saw that he had emailed a reporter to announce his retirement. Again. Poor guy just can't quite go away, can he?
