Hey, doesn't EVERYBODY name their cars?

I am participating in Six-Word Saturday, hosted by Cate at Show My Face.

I named mine! It's a reddish colored car with a seemingly nice personality so I call her Rosy.

Betsy, that is what all our cars were named...except for my 68 Mustang...her name was Tiger! I've not named the truck yet, I was thinking of calling her Red...but that would be to obvious!

Our van is named "Mom" because it beeps and fusses at you. If you don't buckle... "beep". If you get to close to something..."beep".

It just cracked me up so much that I was the one who knick-named it that.

That is great! We haven't named our van, but it's a tan caravan and so many others look just like it that we have a mascot hanging from the mirror that we got in a happy meal one time. It's given name was "Starry Gelert", so every time we are in a big lot that's who we search for.

Hope Vanna has a nice young replacement. 15 years--way to go!

Mine is named the "Mom Mobile". One of my favorite movies growing up was the "Gnome Mobile"....although I guess I could call it the Gnome Mobile since it transports my munchkins everywhere! Anyway..Happy 6WS!

Actually, I don't name my car but my daughter did for me. "Reddy" to be exact. I just asked her why and she said the obvious..."because it's red." LOL

Happy SWS!

LOL. I just refer to my car as "Vanilla". As in plain old boring reliable vanilla. Not a bad thing but not very exciting!

Thanks for playing 6WS!

Dr. John and others who dont want to see her go... Big Bear has aquired "Vanna" and after some freshening this fall/winter, She'll be back on the road next summer! Currently at 268,583 miles, and the 351 V8 still runs great - Now to just get everything else back up to date! Four boys couldnt kill this Ford.

I love turning wrenches, and there are WAYYY too many memories here to just let her go. She is, after 15 years, a big part of our family.

One of our cars is called 'The Dog Car' and mine is 'The Smart Car' or 'Little Car' - not exactly nicknames but we like them ;-)
