I'm not a real political man
I watch CNN but I'm not sure I can tell you
The difference in Iraq and Iran
But I know Jesus and I talk to God
And I remember this from when I was young
Faith hope and love are some good things he gave us
And the greatest is love

Thanks for posting this. I'm remembering 9-11 on my blog, too. I still can't believe it ever happened!
Hmm.. Thanks Veggie Mom.
It's a day of remembrance indeed.
There just seems to be a natural solemness in the air today..
I think we all remember where we were that morning. What we were doing. How unreal it seemed. We cried. And cried. And cried.
And still today, lost innocence, lost lives, lost ways of life, it seems like yesterday.
I was at work... someone called me and said to turn on the TV - I did...and all 80 of us spent the rest of the day glued to it...crying, hugging, calling our loved ones, and praying.
God Bless America
I think the radio has played that song 5 times already today. It is such a great song! It is great to see everyone remembering today.
amen to that. good post for the day. :)
There is a concerted effort to whitewash and make believe that 9-11 didn't happen, not the way we remember it anyway. Because we might become fear mongers. But they cannot stop what this day means to all of us though. All across the world people are remembering.
Thank you,
I for one will never forget.
thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Seven years... so hard to believe! I hope we never forget.
Great post. We must never forget. However, we must find forgiveness in our hearts. I know that because we are who we are, we will.
7 years and at times still feels like yesterday.
We used the same photo (I ripped it from photobucket) but I obviously was too lazy to reduce its size!
